Local Christian Groups

There are a number of groups which we are involved with, or recommend for help and advice.

Haslemere Food BankThe Haslemere Food Bank (at Haslemere Methodist Church, opposite Esso petrol station) can assist with free food, personal hygiene, sanitary and domestic cleaning items. It also offers fresh fruit and vegetables as well as some frozen produce too. They operate via a referral system. To request a Food Bank voucher call 01428 642609 or email office@shottermillparish.org.uk

If you are given a voucher for a food parcel from the Food Bank, you can collect during their opening hours on on Wednesday and Friday mornings from 10.00am-12.00pm (excluding Bank Holidays).

Counties Money Advice – The 3 Counties Money Advice team are fully trained, volunteer advisers from local churches who give impartial advice and assistance on a variety of money related issues. 3 Counties Money Advice operates in Partnership with Frontline Debt Advice UK, who holds a license with the Financial Conduct Authority.

The Wave – The Wave team is made up of people from local churches, who join together fortnightly on Saturday mornings to give a helping hand to people in Haslemere who need it. Please email 3 Counties church if you, or someone you know, is in need of this support and we will see if we can help.

Crossways Counselling Service – Crossways provides a professional counselling service in Haslemere and the surrounding area for individuals, couples and young people aged 11-18, who otherwise would not be able to afford private counselling sessions. They are all Christians and work under regular supervision.
