Youth Activities
St Stephen's is a great place to come if you want to make new friends, play, chill or learn more about Jesus!
Here is some of what we do :
Amplified
Our activities include
Sundays
Amplified meets at St Stephen's Church on Sunday at 10:45am till the end of the service (around 12:15pm). This involves group discussion, teaching, Bible study and games.
Thursdays Amplified meet every Thursday evening from 7pm-8:30pm
at St Stephen's church. Every other week there are social events such as bowling, meals, movies and much more. The weeks in between are called God Slots where we watch film clips, teach from the Bible and explore what it means to be a Christian. We also discuss relevant topics like relationships, education, love, trust, loyalty and what Jesus has to say about these things.

Liquid
Liquid is for ages 14-19 (years 10-13) and has it's own Facebook Group,Newsletter and web site : www.liquidyouth.org.uk
Activities include

Liquid youth Lads and Ladies bible study
This meets every Tuesday evening during term time from 7:30-9:00pm. Studies vary from being based upon themes to books of the Bible.
Worship School
Music, singing and jamming sessions - a chance for you to come along, bring your instrument and jam with other musicians your age.
The Wave
The Wave is an evangelistic outreach event designed to reach out into and serve our community in practical ways. During the year this usually involves redecorating, gardening, etc and is headed up by Liquid Youth. The team meets every other Saturday at St Stephen's church to pray and discuss what is going to be done before going out into different groups to serve.
There is also a week long summer event when both adults and youth are encouraged to get involved in serving the community. This can be as part of the normal work teams decorating or gardening etc but also includes helping in the multitude of other jobs that the week demands. The week kicks off with a large church service in a tent on Lion Green. Throughout the week there is more community service, a cafe, prayer ministry and other events held in the tent such as gigs, comedy shows and a family fun day. This year "The Wave" will be held on 24th July to 29th July, 2011. Please see this link for pictures of these two events:
