How parents can take part at Rainbow Nursery School

rainbow playground picture

We know that choosing a pre-school for your child is a big step. We want you to remain involved as much as possible and see parent/carers and nursery working very
much in partnership to achieve the very best for your child.

There can become a part of the nursery by becoming involved in the Social and Fundraising Group (SFG), by becoming a volunteer, escorting on nursery visits within the community,
supporting us at events, sharing interests or hobbies to name but a few.

If you would like to become actively involved in the nursery, then please speak to a member of staff regarding your expressed interest. We welcome you at any time, by appointment, should there be something you wish to discuss privately.

Social and Fundraising Group (SFG)

The Rainbow Nursery has a very active and highly regarded social and fundraising group of which we hope you will enjoy being an active part of. A range of activities
take place throughout the year so we hope there is something for everyone. Regular emails are sent to support the next scheduled fundraising/social event and this
will also be advertised on the notice board.

Rainbow Support Group

The nursery has close links with the Church and our support group offers the Rainbow Nursery prayer, advice, practical help and expertise in a number of fields. The group includes amongst others Danny Wignall, our vicar, Maura Howard -Church Warden & Clare Shepherd our curate, both members of St Stephen’s, Louise Stevenson, an educational child psychologist and Lana Kelsey a teacher, Noah’s Ark coordinator and chair of the group.

Thank you for choosing The Rainbow Nursery School. We look forward to having the privileged position of caring and educating your child, as they discover the delights and challenges that await them at the start of their educational journey.
