The Rainbow Nursery school is the church’s own nursery school for children aged between two and a half and five years. It meets during term time in the Cross, the
church rooms next to the church. Our Weekly news sheet is here
This school aims to proved the community with a valuable service by means of a Christian based nursery school, and to find ways for children and parents to experience the good news of Jesus for themselves.
They have caring, well-qualified Christian staff who are committed to providing a safe, secure and loving environment for the children in their care. There is also a strong commitment to ongoing training, in order to continually review and update ideas.
The school is registered as a full-day nursery school under the Children’s Act 1989 and follows Government guide-lines for pre-school education with flexibility and
imagination. A comprehensive range of toys, equipment and other stimuli is available for all the children attending, in order to help them progress through a structured
Ecumenical links with other churches in Haslemere is another important element of the Rainbow, and this is well-developed through the school governors and other church toddler groups.
