Home Groups

Home Groups meet for bible study, worship, prayer and fellowship in various homes. They meet either weekly or fortnightly and there are daytime groups as well as evening ones.

If you are interested in joining a group, or finding out more about the various groups that exist, please speak with Danny or Debs on 01428 645878.

A summary list of House Groups can be found here.

Tuesday Evening Groups

   Home Group

There are two Tuesday evening groups with similar programmes.

The groups meet fortnightly and are led by;
Sue Kennedy
Anne and David Laver.

Come and say hello - you will always be welcome.

Monday Morning Group

This group led by Emma Cunningham meets at 10:00 am and provides a creche for young ones.

Tuesday Afternoon Group

This group consists at present of retired people, almost all women, who prefer not to go out to meetings at night, and is led by Vanessa Kemp.

The group has a high social ethos, and is very friendly. We enjoy Bible study and prayer. Meetings are held fortnightly.

Wednesday Evening Group

There are two Wednesday evening groups, one co-ordinated by Dave & Helen Mitchell and the other by Simon Laver. Dave & Helens group meets at various venues at 7:30 pm. With a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, the group has a strong fellowship element and shares a meal together before enjoying a varied programme of praise and worship, Bible study and discussion, prayer and support...with even the occasional family Sunday lunch.
Simons group also meets on a weekly basis and this group starts at 8:00 p.m.

Thursday Morning Group

This Bible Study Group, led by Sarah Weldon, meets every Thursday morning during term time from 9.45-11.45 a.m. at the Van Jefferies' house. The group chooses a different book of the Bible every term to study, and uses the Know your Bible study notes to help their discussions. There are facilities for a creche at these meetings if needed and it is possible to join the group at any time during the term.
