Homegroups continue to be a great way to get connected into the life of St Stephen’s. These small mid-week groups that meet in each other’s homes are where we can build relationships that reflect the UP, IN and OUT of our church DNA. UP in our study of the Bible and worship of God, IN as we get to know each other better and OUT as we engage as Christians with the world outside of church. We are intentionally following Jesus’ example, who gathered the 12 disciples together to share life and grow in Faith.
It has been a real joy to see the number and variety of our Homegroups grow over the last year, as 8 groups became 11. Over 110 people are currently members of one of these small groups, led by 19 different people. There’s always room for more to join! We are so thankful to those who lead and host these groups, and excited that others are thinking about this too.
We think it’s that important, to be accountable to each other, to share our challenges and our joys, and to learn from each other and encourage each other as we share our lives, growing deeper in our Christian Faith.
We have groups running nearly every day and include both evening and daytime groups. If you’re not yet part of a Homegroup and would like to explore getting connected into one, then please answer a few questions here and we will be in touch with you.
