People and Organisations that the church supports
St Stephen's Church gives away 10% of the money donated by its congregation. The money is used to support Christian missionary work, both here and abroad. The church also helps through prayer and encouragement, keeping in contact by telephone and e-mail.
Charities are chosen on a three year cycle, where an important element is that of a strong link with the people of St Stephens. Sometimes members of the church are able to visit the countries where the work is taking place, this has included Rwanda in Africa and Chennai in India.
These are just some of the ways in which the members of St. Stephen's church in
Shottermill are involved in charitable work. (click on images for links to the charities web sites)
